Trip Information for your Charter Experience!
What fish we target: The most common species we target is the rockfish (striped bass). These fish are primarily abundant in the spring and fall/winter months. Starting around May, a mix of rockfish, red drum, and summer flounder will be other available options for anglers to target. White perch, catfish, and spot are always abundant and available for filling the cooler.

How we fish: Artificial lures are Captain Jeff's specialty, but soaking bait is often employed as well. We can target cobia and red drum on artificial lures at certain times of the year and also target them with bottom-fishing methods. Once again, Captain Jeff will be able to adapt to most all fishing desires or needs for your party.

Recommendations: The most important thing is dressing appropriately. It's almost always colder on the water than on land. Bring layers that you can easily strip off when it gets warmer. On the flip side, sun protection in the summer months is crucial: sunscreen, glasses, hats, and long-sleeved shirts.

If you are going to keep your catch, please bring Ziploc bags and a cooler for your car ride home.
The fishing party is responsible for food and drinks for the day, except for water which the Captain will supply. Alcohol is permitted on the boat but only in moderation. No liquor, please.

Sea sickness prevention/management: If you are prone to seasickness, a good remedy is Bonine or Dramamine two consecutive nights before and also the morning of.

What we provide: We supply all things needed to fish and be legally appropriate by law. These include...
- Fishing licenses
- Life jackets
- Rod, reels, tackle, bait
- Cooler with ice and water

Cancellation Policy: The Captain reserves the right to cancel or change the trip for any reason; especially weather. Trips canceled due to weather can be either rescheduled or given a full refund. If a trip is cut short due to unforeseen circumstances or weather events, the Captain will adjust rates and ensure a fair deal is made regarding cost. The number one goal is to put folks on fish and give them an experience they'll never forget.

Last Thoughts: Catch and release is strongly encouraged, but this is your trip! Keep or release what you feel led to.
You PAY for YOUR time. We do not run back to the dock if a limit is achieved. The time you pay for will be the time you spend on the water. Enjoy it!
If you cancel your trip after the 3-day deadline, your deposit will be forfeited. Please let us know early if you can't make it!

Tips are incredibly appreciated for the hard work that goes into these charters, but at no point are they expected. The Captain is thankful for the opportunity to have you with him.
