Captain Jeff has been a nomad of the Eastern Shore, the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, and the Atlantic Ocean along the Maryland and Virginia coasts for over 20 years. As a young angler, Rockfish were the main target, but over time other species have become main stays— Bluefish, Red Drum, Black Drum, Flounder, Sea Bass, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, and others.

Sportfishing on the Chesapeake Bay is an experience like none other. Conservation efforts have revived populations of animals that call these waters their home — feathered, finned, and shelled — and continue to educate us. The Bay is a delicate ecosystem with a balance of give and take; it demands and deserves respect, and aboard the Liza Rey, that's what we give it.
